Thunder Opal

I have never seen stones like this before. I can't even find them on the internet ANYWHERE except one that was listed on Etsy and it is sold. Once these are gone, I will probably never get or see these again. The white in them is crystallized, they are very beautiful and unique. I have these available in cabochons and slices.

The term "Thunder Opal" is not an official gemological classification but refers to opals found within geological formations called "thunder eggs". The name also connects to ancient myths that opals were created by lightning striking the Earth during thunderstorms. In many cultures, gemstones and prehistoric artifacts found after storms were called "thunderstones" or "thunderbolts," as they were believed to have fallen from the sky. 

Spiritually, thunder agate, or "thunderegg," is considered a stone of grounding, balance, and stability, offering emotional, physical, and intellectual equilibrium. Its unique "thunder" imagery can connect the user to divine or spiritual visions and is thought to facilitate inner peace and a stable foundation for personal growth.
