Collection: Pinolith Jasper Cabochons

- natural, flatback cabochons

Pinolith Jasper, also known as Pinolite or Märbelstein ("Marble Stone"), is the common trade name for a rare metamorphic rock composed primarily of magnesite, graphite, and dolomite, creating its distinctive black-and-white "pine nut" patterns. Although widely sold as a jasper, it is not a true jasper geologically. Pinolith is believed to promote peace, grounding, and emotional balance, helping to quiet the mind and encourage a sense of calm and harmony. Its unusual composition and limited locality make it a favorite among collectors and lapidary artists.
