Hemimorphite is a rare zinc silicate mineral admired for its soft blue-green to mint tones, gentle translucence, subtle chatoyancy, and dreamy, cloud-like internal patterns. With a Mohs hardness of about 4.5–5, it takes a luminous natural polish that glows softly in the light. Sometimes historically called Calamine, hemimorphite is considered a stone of emotional renewal and heartfelt truth, believed to ease old wounds, soften stress, and encourage compassion, harmony, and gentle self-expression.
